The practical detail behind how engagements run.

  • Platform deployment means taking an existing Whitedash product — Maavelus for restaurants, MyOrderPad for hospitality procurement, Estia for food distribution — and configuring it for your operation. It’s faster and lower risk. A bespoke build is a new product built from scratch, end-to-end, in phases. We recommend deployment where a platform fits; bespoke where it doesn’t.

  • Platform deployments typically go live within 4–8 weeks from kick-off, depending on configuration complexity. Bespoke builds are phased — the first phase (discovery + architecture) is 2–4 weeks; subsequent build phases are scoped at the end of discovery. We don’t give fixed timelines before we understand the scope.

  • Both, depending on the engagement. Platform deployments are fixed-scope and fixed-price. Bespoke builds begin with a fixed-price discovery phase, then subsequent phases are scoped and priced before each sprint. We don’t do open-ended time-and-materials engagements.

  • It means we don’t just build the software — we help you run it. This covers everything from training your team and integrating with your existing systems, to helping you redesign the operational processes the software supports. Some clients come to us with legacy tools that need replacing; others need a net-new operational system built and embedded. Both are in scope.
